3M™ SlimLine Twin Axial Cable Assembly SFF-8654 8ESx Series is a high-performance cabling solution for SAS and PCIe applications, ideal for high-density data centers. This 3M cable features a low-profile ribbon construction that allows for bending and folding without compromising signal integrity, making it perfect for tight spaces. Available in x4 and x8 configurations with standard lengths of 0.5 m, 0.75 m, and 1 m, it supports both PCIe (85 ohm) and SAS (100 ohm) applications.
The 3M cable design helps optimize space utilization, enhances cooling by minimizing airflow obstruction, and streamlines system assembly. Each fold impacts impedance by no more than two to three ohms, ensuring excellent signal integrity even with multiple folds. Custom folded assemblies can be ordered upon request, and the cable is available with and without sidebands.
