3M™ Double Coated Tissue Tape 56215 is an acrylic, 150 micron-thick, multipurpose tape on a poly coated kraft (PCK) liner, utilizing a tissue carrier that provides dimensional stability and improved handling for easier die-cutting and laminating. Engineered to provide durable and versatile bonds, this translucent tape offers high tack and is an ideal solution for high surface energy and foam applications. With additional benefits like excellent low temperature performance and conformability for curves and uneven sufaces, 3M™ Double Coated Tissue Tape 56215 is an excellent choice for your general-purpose taping needs.
3M™ Double Coated Tissue Tape 56215 is manufactured by a solvent-free adhesive coating process. While offering features like improved clarity compared to traditional 3M™ Double Coated Tissue Tapes, this process also helps eliminate the emission of solvents and the need for solvent recovery, as well as requiring less energy use as opposed to solvent-based coating technology. In fact, an annual purchase of 100,000 sq m of solvent-free 3M™ Double-Coated Tissue Tape results in eliminating the use of approximately 7 tons of solvent when compared to 3M Tapes made through a typical solvent-based adhesive coating process.
