3M™ Acrylic Plus Tape PT0800T is an automotive trim adhesive tape that features two adhesives, one on each side of a 0.8 mm thick acrylic foam core, designed for robust performance even to complex contours and automotive paint surfaces. The viscoelastic foam core provides stress relaxation under high application loads, while maintaining tight bond line aesthetics under normal conditions.

With two adhesives, one on each side of the tape, 3M™ Acrylic Plus Tape PT0800T helps ensure robust bonding even on complex contours and automotive paint surfaces. It comes with a single-sided silicone coating for tabbing with a secondary liner. The liner-side adhesive is specifically designed for traditional automotive paint systems, while the non-liner-side adhesive delivers excellent adhesion to metal and plastic parts. The 0.8 mm thick acrylic foam core provides stress relaxation under high loads, while maintaining a tight bond line appearance. The black color and low elongation properties of the tape help improve the bond line appearance of the attached part. Adhesion promoter is recommended for tape-to-part adhesion on plastic parts.
