A convenient and efficient solution for attaching rearview mirrors to automotive glass, Foil Assembly with 3M™ Structural Bonding Tape are pre-taped foil assemblies that eliminate the need for additional assembly steps in automotive plants, streamlining the process. The pressure-sensitive adhesive immediately fixates the components to the glass upon application and is then heat-cured to provide structural strength. The tape color changes from black to matte gray after curing.
