About the product

Ideal for tunneling wounds, undermining wounds and situations where hyper-granulation is likely to occur. Our 3M™ V.A.C.® Whitefoam Dressing offers a versatile polyvinyl solution to help bolster split thickness skin grafts. We designed our disposable, single-use, sterile packaged dressing for use with 3M™ V.A.C.® Therapy Units and the 3M™ Prevena™ Plus 125 Therapy Unit.

A higher tensile strength solution for tunneling and undermined wounds

Enhance your wound management with the 3M™ V.A.C.® Whitefoam Dressing. Featuring a dense, open-cell white polyvinyl alcohol foam with a higher tensile strength than our 3M™ V.A.C.® Granufoam Dressing, our 3M™ V.A.C.® Whitefoam Dressing requires a minimum pressure setting of -125mmHg for tunneling and undermining wounds. Designed to minimize patient discomfort, you can apply this dressing over full thickness skin grafts (FTSG) or in hyper-granulation-prone situations. As a moisture-retaining dressing that’s packaged and pre-moistened with sterile water, it also helps reduce the likelihood of adherence to the wound base. For optimal pressure distribution, we recommend using a V.A.C. Granufoam® Dressing over the 3M™ V.A.C.® Whitefoam Dressing.
