3M™ Flux Field Directional Material EM25TP is a magnetic composite material consisting of a carrier resin with magnetic fillers. This versatile material can be used efficiently for EMI absorbing and magnetic shielding. 3M absorber EM25TP offers extremely high permeability and high magnetic loss to suppress EMI noise at the target frequency range. Because it functions as both an EMI absorber and a magnetic shield, this material is excellent for preventing creating high-performing custom stackups and preventing short circuits in electrical systems. Customization options include an acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) for fast, easy application and a black PET top film layer for added durability. The 3M EM25TP is also designed to efficiently couple to the magnetic field, and redirect it in low frequencies up to 15 MHz.
3M™ Flux Field Directional Material EM25TP has five magnetic layer thickness options from 0.025 mm to 0.250 mm. The total thickness varies with the selected stack up of the optional adhesive, and PET film cover.
3M™ Flux Field Directional Material EM25TP Series has high magnetic permeability (μ’), making 3M EM25TP material great for shielding AC magnetic fields from 100 kHz to 10 MHz. The high magnetic loss (μ”) allows for effective EMI absorption in 100 MHz – 4 GHz frequency range.
