3M™ Tape 62 is a 4 mil thick, PTFE film backing, electrical tape. This printable tape is suitable for use on high temperature coils, wire harnesses and capacitors. The thermosetting, silicone adhesive on the flame retardant tape offers optimized adherence in areas of high ambient temperatures. This tape withstands a temperature range of 32 to 356 °F (0 to 180 °C).

3M™ Tape 62 has a bondable backside that provides excellent adhesion to its own backing as well as better bonding of resins and varnishes. This PTFE tape is suitable for minimum shrinkage applications over a wide range of temperatures. UL Listed and RoHS 2011/65/EU Compliant .
