3M™ Cloth Sheet 461F is a silicon-carbide abrasive designed for light deburring and finishing on a variety of metals, including titanium, stainless and carbon steel.

3M™ Cloth Sheet 461F feature silicon carbide mineral bonded to a water-resistant polyester cloth backing. If needed, the abrasive can be run wet or dry, and is ideal for use on heat sensitive stainless steel, which may require water or a helpful lubricant to help keep the substrate cool. Silicon carbide mineral is a synthetic mineral that cuts sharp and leaves a bright finish. The black, iridescent mineral slices through the substrate and helps bring you one step closer to achieving a final finish.

The form of 3M™ Cloth Sheet 461F enables it to be cut and shaped according to project needs. It can be used with hand-held electric or pneumatic tools. 461F is offered in a range of grades, so operators can select the right grade for their application. Finer grades (P120 through P600) have an XF weight. Coarser grades (P36 through P100) have a YF weight. Regardless of grade or weight, cloth abrasives are known for their dual durability and agility. They can respond to workpiece contours without wearing and tearing easily.
