Designed to improve automotive plant productivity, Rain Sensor Mirror Button Combo Brackets with 3M™ Structural Bonding Tape help improve process efficiency by supplying pre-taped components ready for application to windshields and other automotive glass. The pressure-sensitive adhesive on the structural bonding tape allows for attachment of components immediately upon application to glass. 3M™ Structural Bonding Tape forms a reliable bond with glass, which may help minimize consumer-related warranty issues. 3M™ Structural Bonding Tape 9263, which is featured on this product, is a 0.63 mm thick tape formulated for bonding rearview mirror buttons and other hardware to automotive glass. It is applied as a pressure-sensitive tape and then heat-cured to develop structural strength. The tape color changes from black to matte gray after curing.
