Rain Sensor Bracket with 3M™ Structural Bonding Tape is a glass bonding adhesive solution for attaching cameras and sensors to automotive glass. The pre-taped brackets are ready to use, enabling process efficiency during application. This self-contained tape and hardware system can help reduce scrap, in-plant labor expenses and inventory costs. The pressure-sensitive adhesive allows for immediate fixture and the tape is heat-cured for a secure bond. This system is compatible with manual and automated manufacturing processes, and available autoclave processes.

Designed to help improve automotive plant productivity, Rain Sensor Bracket with 3M™ Structural Bonding Tape enables process efficiency by supplying pre-taped components ready for application to windshields. The pressure-sensitive adhesive on the structural bonding tape allows for attachment of components immediately upon application to glass. Single- and multi-function brackets are applied at the glass manufacturing facility with this system. The tape is heat-cured to complete the process of bonding. The tape forms a reliable bond with glass, which can help minimize consumer-related warranty issues. 3M™ Structural Bonding Tape 9263, featured on this product, is a 0.63 mm thick tape formulated for bonding hardware and accessories to automotive glass. The tape color changes from black to matte gray after curing.
