3M™ Diamond Cloth Belt 641WY
Grade 1800 mesh— providing consistent finishes on tough metals and ceramics
Faster Cut, Finer Finish
Uniquely engineered to tackle the toughest jobs, 3M™ Diamond Cloth Belt 641WY is constructed with micron-graded diamond particles encapsulated in a ceramic bead. As the ceramic erodes, diamond particles continue to be exposed.

Diamond is extremely useful in grinding and polishing hard materials for its unique ability to produce excellent surface finishes combined with high removal rates.

This belt is engineered with a tough resin bond. This bond is durable and excellent for hard-to-grind materials. This product material can be used with oil and water based lubricants.

Use Wet or Dry
A water-resistant X-weight cloth backing means it can be used wet as well as dry. Coolant is useful to clear grinding swarf and prevent debris from scratching the surface of a workpiece. It also keeps grinding temperatures cooler.

Diamond is extremely useful in grinding and polishing hard materials for its unique ability to produce excellent surface finishes combined with high removal rates.
Tough Abrasive for Hard-to-Grind Materials
This belt's overall toughness makes it ideal for polishing and finishing ceramics, chilled cast iron, thermal spray coatings, HVOF coatings and the many extremely hard composites being used more in industries.
