3M™ ATG Adhesive Transfer Tape 987 quickly bonds a wide variety of lighter materials including uncoated and coated paper, card stock, paper board, matting, lightweight fabrics, foils, flexible plastics and foam board. Offers good adhesion and UV resistance. Reverse wound on a unique 1 inch core designed for use with a Scotch® ATG Applicator.
Adheres well to a wide variety of substrates
Designed for general purpose applications, 3M™ ATG Adhesive Transfer Tape 987 bonds a wide variety of materials, including metals, glass, wood, papers, paints and many plastics. It offers high adhesion that creates a permanent bond, good solvent resistance and good UV resistance.

Aggressive 3M™ Adhesive 400 Offers Consistently Strong Bond
3M™ ATG Adhesive Transfer Tape 987 features 3M™ Adhesive 400, a medium-firm pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive system. It features an excellent balance of high initial adhesion with good holding power. The formulation gives 3M™ Adhesive 400 a consistently strong bond across a wide range of temperatures, from -60°F/-51°C to 250°F/121°C.

The ATG system is a cost effective and more productive replacement to many double-sided tapes, tape applicators, as well as adhesive dots, staples and liquid adhesives. This applicator allows the ATG liner to rewind into the applicator as the adhesive is applied for hassle-free operation that eliminates messes and clean-up.
