3M™ Paper Disc 363I is a general purpose abrasive sanding disc constructed on heavy, F-weight paper backing and features a strong resin bonding to help increase durability and resist wear. The aluminum oxide mineral and thick backing make this disc an ideal product for heavy sanding applications such as aggressive wood or metal sanding.

3M™ Paper Disc 363I is suited for either metal or wood sanding and finishing thanks to its durability and fast cutting abrasive material. Its heavy F-weight paper backing can be cut to fit any work piece or hand tool.
Aluminum Oxide Abrasive
Aluminum oxide is a popular choice among industrial professionals because of its fast cut-rate and long life. This mineral makes a tough, durable abrasive that self-fractures to expose fresh cutting edges, whereas traditional natural abrasives dull more quickly. Due to its fast cut-rate, hardness, and strength, it is widely used for sanding and finishing applications. Aluminum oxide is suitable for use on a wide variety of materials in woodworking (PDF, 21 Mb) and metalworking (PDF, 13 Mb).
