3M™ Paper Disc 363I is a general purpose abrasive sanding disc constructed on heavy, F-weight paper backing and features a strong resin bonding to help increase durability and resist wear. The aluminum oxide mineral and thick backing make this disc an ideal product for heavy sanding applications such as aggressive wood or metal sanding.

3M™ Paper Disc 363I is suited for either metal or wood sanding and finishing thanks to its durability and fast cutting abrasive material.
Constructed especially for random orbital sanders, using a non-woven nylon web embedded with premium ceramic grain
Tough Hand Sanding
3M™ Paper Disc 363I is suited for either metal or wood sanding and finishing thanks to its durability and fast cutting abrasive material. Its heavy F-weight paper backing can be cut to fit any work piece or hand tool.

Aluminum Oxide Abrasive
Aluminum oxide is a popular choice among industrial professionals because of its fast cut-rate and long life. This mineral makes a tough, durable abrasive that self-fractures to expose fresh cutting edges, whereas traditional natural abrasives dull more quickly. Due to its fast cut-rate, hardness, and strength, it is widely used for sanding and finishing applications. Aluminum oxide is suitable for use on a wide variety of materials in woodworking (PDF, 21 Mb) and metalworking (PDF, 13 Mb).

The 3M™ Paper Disc 363I heavy F-weight paper backing can be cut to fit any work piece or hand tool.

Heat and Load Resistant
This paper disc is constructed using a semi-open coat of abrasive grains that helps to balance both load resistance and fine finishing action. It also uses a resin bonding which is specially designed to resist thermal deterioration, which can occur during sanding. This bond is very tough and excellent for work on a variety of substrates. This also allows for faster sanding and a higher cut rate.
