Designed for Automotive Power Sanding
When your project requires uncompromising quality, 3M™ Green Corps™ Sanding Discs help you get the job done right the first time for auto body work including paint stripping, rust removal and shaping body filler. Our discs are made with Green Corps™ abrasives, a blend of minerals that cut fast and last a long time. Green Corps™ abrasives are built on heavy, highly durable D and E weight backing for sanding paint, metal and fiberglass. Designed for automotive power sanding, our discs are meant for use with a dual action orbital sander. These abrasive discs work great with Bondo® Body Filler.

Available in a Variety of Grits
Discs in this category give you a choice of abrasive grits. Choose the abrasive grit that is right for your application. All abrasive blends feature aluminum oxide, a popular choice because of its cut-rate and long life. This mineral is a tough, durable abrasive that self-fractures to expose fresh cutting edges in use, whereas traditional abrasives quickly wear down with use. Due to its high cut-rate, hardness, strength, and low heat retention, aluminum oxide is highly effective for sanding and finishing. Ceramic abrasive grains provide excellent abrasive life and a fast cut rate when used on body filler.

Choose the Disc that is Right for Your Job
Depending on the disc you choose, you can find one for everything from stripping paint from metal, plastic or fiberglass surfaces to shaping and sanding body filler. You'll also find discs for deburring, rust removal, weld removal and rough featheredging. Our discs come ready to use with a pressure sensitive adhesive coating on the backside so they conveniently press on to the backup pad, and remove cleanly, leaving an uncontaminated surface for the next disc.

About the 3M™ Body Repair System
Even a small repair can seem complex at first. So 3M's Body Repair System simplifies the entire automotive body repair process by dividing it into four stages:

Stage 1 — Prepare. This stage includes pulling dents, removal of paint and rust and efficient, effective masking of the area.

Stage 2 — Fill. This stage involves patching holes with reinforced filler and smoothing and shaping filler before painting.

Stage 3 — Paint. This stage includes painting the area and blending and smoothing primer and paint.

Stage 4 — Finish. The final stage for showroom-grade results: removing small defects, sealing and polishing clear coats and other painted surfaces.

3M supplies premium products such as abrasives, tapes, body fillers and tools for every stage. This system helps you work easily, efficiently and successfully across the entire body repair process.
