The 3M™ Polarized Boardmount Socket, 8500 Series, is excellent for accurate and secure connections even during fast-paced installations. Standard centerbump polarization helps technicians accurately mate the socket with low-profile shrouded headers. Each socket includes a clear part number for easy and accurate identification in configurations up to 64 contacts. Straight contact solder tails allow for excellent board retention during solder reflow.
An optional keying plug on the 3M™ Polarized Boardmount Socket, 8500 Series helps maximize accuracy even in complex or customized systems.
