3M™ Wiremount Socket, 3000 Series is an IDC socket connector that brings reliability and efficiency to wire-to-board connecting applications. The 3M socket 3000 Series is available with an optional metal or plastic strain relief. The positive locking metal "J" clip on 3M™ Wiremount Socket, 3000 Series provides secure cover retention. Its IDC termination method makes installation quick and effortless. Optional pull tab allows for convenient unplugging of preassembled socket/boardmount header assemblies. The gray insulated connector is made with glass-filled polyester (PBT) for durability. With a pitch of 0.1 in. / 2.54 mm, this connector is compatible with .050 in flat ribbon cables, making it a versatile solution for various applications.
