The 3M™ Shielded/Jacketed, Flat Cable, HF017 Series is a Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) insulated cable. In the event of fire, the insulation helps lower smoke and toxicity of combustion gases, minimizing damage to nearby equipment from soot and corrosion. With 28 AWG stranded wire on .050 inch centers, the cable allows for mass termination to a wide variety of IDC connectors. Its 360-degree expanded copper shielding helps reduce EMI for clear signal transmission. Zippable primary cable allows branching and discrete terminations.

The LSZH insulation of halogen-free 3M™ Shielded/Jacketed, Flat Cable, HF017 Series provides the low smoke (IEC 61034-2:2005), and low toxicity of combustion gases (NF X 70-100-2:2006). Polyolefin jacketing adds durability. The cable complies to VW-1 standards.
