Do not pull the tape perpendicular to the skin. For tape that is strongly adhered to the skin, consider using a medical-grade adhesive remover to soften the adhesive along the peel line.

Stabilize the skin with one finger at the peel line and continuously move it along the peel line (ideally in the direction of hair growth) to support the skin during removal.
