Do not pull the tape perpendicular to the skin. For tape that is strongly adhered to the skin, consider using a medical-grade adhesive remover to soften the adhesive along the peel line.

Stabilize the skin with one finger at the peel line and continuously move it along the peel line (ideally in the direction of hair growth) to support the skin during removal.

  • Can be torn by hand.
  • Provides multi-purpose securement for clinical applications, such as blood draws, lightweight dressings, I.V. lines and tubing (secondary securement) and non-critical tubes.
  • For better skin performance, consider 3M™ Micropore™ S Surgical Tape, which is made with a strong, but gentle silicone adhesive to deliver the securement power you need while minimizing damage to skin.
