3M™ IDC Ribbon Cable Socket, D89 Series is a cable ribbon connector that delivers reliability and versatility for various wire-to-board connection applications. This preassembled socket makes it easy to load onto manual and semi-automatic assembly equipment.
With a pitch of 0.1 in. / 2.54 mm, 3M™ IDC Ribbon Cable Socket, D89 Series is great for applications requiring precise and secure wire-to-board connections. It features a bulk packaging option for maximum economy and bumps to help prevent premature latch locking during shipment. With the optional double-sided adhesive pull tab, unplugging is quick and easy. The double-recessed cover allows for cable termination from either side, virtually eliminating the need for single-recessed cover connectors. Plus, it is offered with or without a center bump for added stability. This socket is gray in color and includes a polarizing key, further enhancing its functionality and ease of use. The glass-filled polyester (PBT) material helps enhance durability and provides excellent strain relief. It is UL 94V-0, China RoHS and RoHS 2011/65/EU compliant.
