The 3M™ CP2 Press-Fit Socket, CP2 Series helps achieve high signal density in cost-effective applications, especially those using MDR connectors. Modular sockets use a basic unit of 25 mm (50 mm module) with 2 mm grid spacing. Sockets are designed according to IEC 61076-4-101 and IEC 60352-5 standards, and feature Type A 110, 2 mm right-angle signal contacts. A press-fit pin design helps technicians verify smooth and accurate connections.
End-stackable socket mates with 5 row 3M HM, and CP2 headers, The 3M press-fit socket, CP2 series is available with additional grounding rows for greater ground bounce and EMI immunity.
