3M™ Exterior Trim Film
3M™ Exterior Trim Film is paint replacement film designed to replace chrome-plated or painted parts to streamline the manufacturing process. It was built to withstand the environmental challenges on the open road while conforming to the curves, angles and creativity of your design. Explore different finishes such as chrome and high-gloss black.

Exterior trim film from 3M is formulated to work with thermoplastic olefin (TPO), thermoplastic vulcanizates (TPV), acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), polycarbonate and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (PC-ABS), and stainless-steel substrates. It is compatible with existing extrusion, injection molding and roll forming processes.

3M™ Interior Trim Film is premium film for covering automotive interior trim parts. It provides a range of dazzling finishes, resulting in a high-quality custom, look and feel. This film is designed to be applied onto injection-molded base parts using dual vacuum thermoforming (DVT) equipment.

Interior trim film from 3M is offered in a range of base constructions and finishes. Textures and colors can be combined to create a wide variety of finishes. Although similar in many respects, the various constructions exhibit different performance properties and should be tested to the requirements of each end-use application.
