These sanding blocks, file shoes, interface pads and more have been developed specifically for applying abrasives consistently and intuitively, even in hard-to-reach spaces. Many are available with hook-and-loop backing for 3M™ Hookit™ abrasives, or to accept adhesive-backed Stikit™ abrasives that press on quickly and remove without residue.

  • Encompassing some of our most well-known brands in collision repair – Perfect-It™, Scotch-Brite™ and Roloc™ among them – these backup pads, interface pads, disc holders and disc pad assemblies have been developed to maximize your speed, convenience, cut and control.   • 3M builds all the reliability of our heavy metalworking tools into a nimble sander sized specifically for the collision repair shop. This 18” file belt sander features a .65 horsepower motor, excellent for body repair work. The narrow-profile tool weighs just 2 lb. and features a rotatable housing for excellent maneuverability in small spaces such as between door panels. The sander is ideal for use with 3M™ Cubitron™ II file belts on jobs including hem flange removal and surface prep, and in many cases it can even replace a spot weld drill.
