    Program Overview

    The 3M Preferred DI-NOC™ Installer Program is comprised of two days of hands-on training followed by one day of testing.
     

    • Training covers the skills and knowledge necessary to apply 3M™ DI-NOC™ Architectural Finishes in an interior design setting. Completion of the training will allow participants to confidently complete 3M™ DI-NOC™ Architectural Finishes applications using appropriate materials, tools and techniques
    • Applications include, but are not limited to, flat surfaces, door wrapping, complex curves, corners and more.
    • Supplemental topics include Surface Preparation, Installation Considerations, Maintenance, and Repair.
    • The one-day test is comprised of a written and hands-on test that assesses participants’ competency in 3M™ DI-NOC™ Architectural Finishes application.
    • Participants who successfully complete the one-day test earn the 3M Preferred DI-NOC™ Installer designation.

    3M Preferred Installer Testing for Fleet and/or Windows, Walls and Floors

    To receive the 3M Fleet Graphics Preferred Installer and 3M Windows, Walls & Floors Preferred Installer certifications, you must complete a test. Training is not required to take the test but is highly recommended. You must have this certification to install 3M window films, graphics and glass finishes.

    3M Graphic Films Installation Training for Windows, Walls, Floors and Fleet Graphics

    • This course covers:
       

      • A broad range of installation approaches on applications including windows, walls, floors and fleet
      • Tools to improve your proficiency
      • Skills to ensure your applications exceed customer expectations
    • At the end of this three-day training, you may test for Windows, Walls and Floors and/or Fleet Accreditations. Passing the tests confers the titles of 3M Fleet Graphics Preferred Installer and 3M Windows, Walls & Floors Preferred Installer and will be listed on the 3M Installer Locator.
    • *Please note this three-day training is not intended to provide entry level installers with the skills needed to successfully pass hands-on testing. 3M recommends that these rigorous hands-on tests only be taken by experienced installers.

    3M Glass Finishes Decorative Film Training

    • One-day courses including:
       

      • Hands-on training designed to expose the trainee to the basics of Sun Control, Safety & Security Window Film and 3M Glass Finishes Decorative Film installation
      • Trainees can learn how to install window film attachment systems
