3M™ Glass Bubbles iM16K are engineered hollow microspheres made of soda-lime borosilicate glass with a density of 0.46 g/cm³ and an excellent isostatic crush strength of 16,000 psi / 1100 bar.
The iM16K grade provides an additive with outstanding strength-to-density ratio for use in injection moulding, extrusion, and sheet molding compounds. The iM16k Glass Bubbles feature a very small medium particle size of 20 µm.
