Excellere – Latin inf. /ek’sel.ler/:
to elevate, to rise up, to surpass

Welcome

These are the reasons to participate!

Nowadays, continued success in the orthodontic office is strongly linked to the ability to change. In order to offer our patients the best possible treatments, we need to assess newly available techniques, tools and technologies and have to decide how to integrate relevant innovations into our existing clinical workflows.

To my mind, there are two main trends that deserve our special attention: esthetics in orthodontic treatments and treatment outcomes, and digital technologies used as tools to become more efficient, precise and predictable in our procedures. Both topics will take center stage at the 3M Congress “Excellere 2018” that takes place on September 21 and 22, 2018 in Madrid, Spain.

On Friday, renowned experts in the field of esthetic orthodontics will focus on clinical issues related to the challenges of clinicians who would like to link and coordinate the use of new orthodontic tools and esthetic devices with the accomplishment of excellent esthetic results. The speakers will provide assistance on how to select appropriate tools for specific clinical situations and will reveal how to obtain the desired results.

On Saturday morning, a number of specialists will deal with the challenges and opportunities related to the incorporation of digital technologies into the orthodontic office. Questions to be answered are “which digital technologies may be useful for my own office?” and “how can I implement them to become more efficient and effective?”. After lunch, there will be a number of lectures on lingual orthodontics chaired by my colleague Dr. Germain Becker.

During both parts of the program, the attendants will have the chance to enjoy beautiful presentations and to interact with the experts for personal advice. I look forward to meeting you all in Madrid!
