FAQs

  • I'm double tapping, but it's not connecting to my phone/device. What should I do?
    Is your unit saying, "Bluetooth® pairing?" If not, you need to double tap more quickly (2 presses in less than ½ second). Keep trying until you hear it.
  • Try the following suggestions. If one step doesn't resolve the issue, go to the next step:

    1. Make sure you are searching/scanning for Bluetooth® devices on your phone.
    2. Turn your phone's Bluetooth® off and on.
    3. Turn your phone completely off and turn it back on.
    4. You may have too many other Bluetooth® products paired to your phone. Try to "forget" or "unpair" some and try connecting again.
    5. Check to see if your phone needs any system updates, and update if needed.
    6. Perform a "factory reset" on your hearing protection device (see last FAQ).
    7. If you still cannot pair, you will need to contact your phone's manufacturer for help as it is likely an issue with the phone's Bluetooth® firmware.

  • You may need to "forget" or "unpair" the device from your phone in order to connect to a new device.
  • This hearing protector is not waterproof, meaning that it is not meant to be submerged in water. However, we realize that it may not be possible to keep the unit dry at all times. Thus, the hearing protector was designed to tolerate moisture that you might encounter with outside lawn and gardening work (e.g., perspiration, a light rain, etc.). If the inner cushions get damp or wet, remove them and allow to dry before reassembly.
  • Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds.
  • There is an Land R printed on the foam inside each cup to help you orient the device on your head. The cups are canted to allow more room for your ears in the cups; the buttons should be on the right cup.
  • There is a two-year limited warranty for this product. See Warranty section for more information.
  • A factory reset will restore all default settings and clear any remembered devices. To perform a Factory Reset, start with the headset powered on, then press and hold the Power button with the Volume lever up for ten seconds. The LED light will flash three times and the audio assist will say "Factory Reset. Power off." The device has now been reset to its default settings.
    • Wipe down the headband and ear cushions using a sponge or cloth and warm, soapy water. Remove any soapy residue using a clean, damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
    • If desired, you can pull off the ear cushions and foam liner prior to washing.
    • Let the foam liner dry before re-inserting into ear cups.
    • Do not use solvents, or harsh or abrasive chemicals.
    • Do not use a disinfecting wipe as they may contain ingredients that can dry out the material.
    • Do not immerse in water.
    • Store in clean, dry place.
    • Do not store above 131°F (55°C) or below 40°F (4°C).
    • Earmuffs must be regularly inspected for cracks, worn parts, and for proper fitting. Replace cracked or worn parts as needed. The typical life for foam cushions and ear cushions are 6 - 12 months.
